Insta360 GO Tutorial- The Guitar Shot

Insta360 GO and Guitars go together like bread and butter. With the Pivot Stand, you can get some really creative angles of your jam sessions. Headstock? Easy. You can even put GO inside your acoustic with the Sticky Base on the other side!

Steps:

Step 1: The Setup

Connect GO to your phone, open the app, enter settings, and set QuickCapture in the button settings to 30 seconds.

    


Step 2: The Prep

Pop GO into the Pivot Stand and stick to a cool spot on your guitar.

If the Sticky Base or Pivot Stand have lost stickiness, clean with water and dry for re-use.

After use, re-apply their original covers to maintain stickiness.


Shot 1: The Pickguard Shot

Place GO in the Pivot Stand and tag it to the pickguard. Press GO once to start your 30-second QuickCapture.


Shot 2: The Acoustic Chamber Shot

Place GO inside your acoustic guitar, use the magnetic Sticky Base to secure the camera from the back, move the Sticky Base to position the camera. Press GO once to shoot your QuickCapture.


Step 3: The Edit

Connect to the Insta360 GO app, download your video, edit.

Select your clip, and adjust the aspect ratio. 16:9 is standard, but 1:1 works great for an Instagram post.

Long press the screen, hold the screen to drag and adjust the framing. After you’re happy with your edit, share to social media and the Insta360 community.

Notes:

1. If the Sticky Base or Pivot Stand have lost stickiness, clean with water and dry for re-use.

2. Insta360 GO can be placed in the Pivot Stand and be operated by pressing the front part of the camera.

3. It’s best to calibrate your gyro if you’re encountering and odd movements in your video.
