Tips & Tricks

Insta360 Ace and Insta360 Ace Pro do an amazing job of capturing the low light magic, but there are a few settings to use for truly cinematic shots.

PureVideo: This is the go-to shooting mode for night shots and low light scenes. PureVideo reduces noise and enhances brightness on the go for unparalleled image quality at night, so make sure you use this mode!

Auto Mode: Luckily, Insta360 Ace and Insta360 Ace Pro manage color, sharpness, white balance, and more, all for you. Auto is enabled by default, and we suggest sticking to it. Of course, you can easily switch to Manual if you want.

Exposure: It's recommended to keep this at 0. For extremely dark conditions, try +0.5 to +1. For that atmospheric effect, try -0.5 to -1.

Low Light Stabilization: For any intense activities at night, turn on Low Light Stabilization. This is only recommended when you really need stabilization, as turning it on in a dark environment will decrease the overall brightness.

Remember, posting to both YouTube and Facebook will increase your chances! We will announce the winners in the Facebook group, so keep your eyes peeled!

We can't wait to see what you create. Get shooting and good luck!
