Thank you very much for purchasing “Insta360 Extended Warranty” (“Extended Warranty” or “this Warranty”). Please read the Insta360 Extended Warranty Customer Service Agreement (“Agreement”) before your confirmation of purchasing “Insta360 Extended Warranty” service (”Service”). The content of the Agreement ensures your rights. Your purchase of the Service is deemed acceptance of the Agreement. The Service is provided by Arashi Vision Inc. (“Insta360”), and the maintenance and repair is carried out by a designated after-market service agency.
You acknowledge and warrant that you are purchasing/redeeming the Extended Warranty after you have read, fully understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions herein in their entirety. If you do not agree to any of the terms and conditions set forth herein, please do not purchase/redeem this Warranty.
For any matter regarding product after-sales services that is not mentioned in this Agreement, the provision in the After-Sales Policy shall prevail. In case of any conflict between this Agreement and the After-Sales Policy the provisions in this Agreement shall prevail.
To the extent permitted by law, this warranty and the remedies set forth are exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, remedies and conditions, whether oral, written, statutory, express or implied. Insta360 disclaims all statutory and implied warranties, including without limitation, warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose and warranties against hidden or latent defects, to the extent permitted by law. In so far as such warranties cannot be disclaimed, Insta360 limits the duration and remedies of such warranties to the duration of this express warranty and, at Insta360's option, the repair or replacement services described below.
This Warranty only applies to Insta360 products purchased for personal use, not for resale. See the table below for Insta360 Extended Warranty product types.

*Collaboration Camera: refers to Cameras developed by Insta360 in collaboration with other companies or brands.
*Official Camera: refers to the genuine camera purchased from the official channel of Insta360 or the official authorized agent channel.
Insta360 guarantees that, under normal use, the product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship during the warranty period. The original warranty period for Insta360 products is one year for free, starting on the day you receive the product. If you are unable to provide proof of purchase, the warranty start date will be calculated as 90 days after the device’s factory production date, that is, the warranty will end 15 months after the factory date (unless otherwise specified by Insta360).
The service guarantee period of “Insta360 Extended Warranty” is one year. With effect from the date of expiry of the free warranty period, the scheme may extend your warranty period to two years. Please refer to the “After-sales Services” page to check the original warranty period of your product.
To qualify under the Insta360 Extended Warranty service, the following conditions must be met:
Buy the Insta360 Extended Warranty service with the product, or buy the Insta360 Extended Warranty service separately and bind the product.
a. The product has been used normally within the specified warranty period and has no signs of external damage.
b. The product has undergone no unauthorized disassembly, modification or addition outside of advice given in the official product guide.
c. The product has not experienced any accidental damage.
d. You are able to provide valid proof of purchase.
Note: if you have purchased Insta360 Care, you are covered for one free repair for accidental damage to the camera, within one year. For details, please check the ''Insta360 Care'' Terms of Service.
When purchasing the Insta360 Extended Warranty Service, you can choose:
a. Purchase with the Extended Warranty Service Product: Within 2-6 days after the product is shipped, the Insta360 Extended Warranty Service will be automatically bundled with the Extended Warranty Service Product you purchased and activated.
b. Purchase separately within a specified period of time after the activation of the Extended Warranty Service Product: When purchasing separately, you need to provide the serial number of the Extended Warranty Service Product to verify whether the time limit for purchase specified below is met, or the purchase will not be possible:

If you purchase Insta360 Extended Warranty for Insta360 Link and the system verifies that the Insta360 Link was not purchased from the Insta360 Official Store (store.insta360.com) or the system cannot match your order according to the serial number you filled in, please follow the instruction on the purchasing pop-up to check and fill in the purchase date of Insta360 Link. Before the repair process begins, we will verify whether the Link purchase date you filled in is consistent with the purchase certificate. If it is inconsistent, you may not be able to use the Extended Warranty service and Insta360 Extended Warranty will be refunded.
“Insta360 Extended Warranty” does not apply to any non-Insta360 branded product or any software, even if packaged or sold with Insta360 product. Software distributed by Insta360 with or without the Insta360 brand (including, but not limited to system software) is not covered by “Insta360 Extended Warranty”. Insta360 does not warrant that the operation of the Insta360 product will be uninterrupted or error-free. Insta360 is not responsible for damage arising from failure to follow instructions relating to the Insta360 Product’s use.
For any situations not covered by this Warranty (see below list), you will be required to pay a fee to access officially authorized Insta360 maintenance services.
The warranty does not apply:
a. To damage caused by unauthorized (not included in the official product manual) modification, disassembly, opening of the product and or attempted repairs.
b. To consumable parts, such as batteries or protective coatings, that may naturally diminish over time, unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship.
c. To cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents and broken plastic on ports, unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship.
d. To damage caused by the use of third-party components or products.
e. To accidental damage (for example, the product is dropped or suffers water damage).
f. To product failure or damage caused by major incident or natural disaster (for example, fire, earthquake, lightning etc.)
g. To damage due to incorrect installation, use and or operation of product not in accordance with the official product manual.
h. To damage during upgrade/repair services carried out by anyone other than Insta360 designated Customer Service Center.
i. To defects caused by normal wear or aging.
j. To damage caused by improper use of battery packs and chargers.
k. If the product’s serial number has been removed or smeared.
l. If you are unable to remove the activation password or other forms of security measures used to prevent unauthorized use of Insta360 products, unless you can prove that you are an authorized user of the product (for example, by presenting proof of purchase).
m. If after contacting Insta360 to confirm the warranty service, the corresponding item is not sent within 7 days.
n. Failure or damage caused by war, hostile action, military action, armed conflict, strike, riot, insurrection, terrorist acts and force majeure acts of nature (such as earthquake, fire, tsunami, radioactive contamination, lightning strike, etc.).
Ⅴ. WHAT WILL INSTA360 DO
a. If you experience an issue with your product, please contact Insta360 and explain in as much detail as possible what the problem is.
b. Insta360 technical support staff will try to diagnose and solve your problem by email or remote assistance. You may be asked to download and install specific software updates. If the problem cannot be solved by phone or software update, you will need to return the product to Insta360 for further testing and inspection.
c. If the problem is due to an issue covered under this Warranty and in our After-Sales Policy, Insta360 will be responsible for the repair costs.
d. If the tested product does not meet the conditions for free repair set out in our After-Sales Policy, Insta360 will charge a fee for testing, replacement parts, labor and courier costs, according to the specific case. Customers can choose to pay for the repair or have the original device returned without repair.
e. The replacement products or parts provided by Insta360 may not be brand new or packaged, but will be in perfect working order and at least equivalent in performance to the replaced part. The replaced product will still be covered under the warranty of the original product.
f. Insta360 may not be able to provide after-sales service in all locations, and the content of the After -Sales Policy varies with location. Services outside the regular service range may incur a charge. For local information, please contact Insta360.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Insta360 is NOT responsible for loss or disclosure of any data, including confidential information, proprietary information, or personal information, contained in a product.
Except as provided in this Warranty and to the maximum extent permitted by law, Insta360 is not responsible for direct, special, incidental or consequential damages resulting from any breach of warranty or condition, or under any other legal theory, including but not limited to loss of use; loss of revenue; loss of actual or anticipated profits (including loss of profits on contracts); loss of the use of money; loss of anticipated savings; loss of business; loss of opportunity; loss of goodwill; loss of reputation; loss of, damage to, compromise or corruption of data; or any indirect or consequential loss or damage howsoever caused including the replacement of equipment and property, any costs of recovering, programming, or reproducing any program or data stored in or used with the Insta360 product or any failure to maintain the confidentiality of information stored on the Insta360 product.
The foregoing limitation does not apply to damages for bodily injury (including death), damage to real property or damage to tangible personal property for which Insta360 is liable under law.
As some states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
a. When the covered product is returned within fifteen (15) calendar days, the associated “Insta360 Extended Warranty” can also be returned for a refund at that time. More than calendar 15 days after the covered product is purchased, cancellation, refund of “Insta360 Extended Warranty” for any reason shall not be accepted.
b. If “Insta360 Extended Warranty” is purchased with a product and the product’s serial number changes due to exchange, the new replacement product can be associated with your existing “Insta360 Extended Warranty”.
c. If you purchase “Insta360 Extended Warranty” at a separate time after purchasing the product, once the product and the Service are activated and locked in, the Service shall not be accepted for refund.
d. The service is non-transferable to a third party once activated.
a. Please go to the INSTA360 website to read the Insta360 Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy") carefully before you apply for the Service. Once you buy “Insta360 Extended Warranty”, you have read, agreed to and complied with the Privacy Policy, authorized to provide your personal and product information to Insta360, and authorized Insta360 to use such information while providing you with the Service according to the Privacy Policy. Insta360 shall ensure consumers online shopping information security and personal information security.
b. Please note that product maintenance may result in data loss. Please back up your data first. Be sure to back up and/or delete the data in your product before sending it back. If you do not delete it in advance, Insta360 will inevitably come into contact with the data in your product during the service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Insta360 is not responsible for any data that is lost or leaked in the products it serves.
c. The maintenance and repair service covered under “Insta360 Extended Warranty” might require additional necessary information to be provided. “Insta360 Extended Warranty” requires following information during the maintenance and repair process: order number, purchase list, payment record like credit card statement, PayPal receipt, wire transfer record, etc. Insta360 will not release, disclose, sell or provide the collected information to any third party without your consent. The preceding information shall be kept safe. To guarantee the service, the user shall agree that Insta360 shall have the right to request the user to supply the required information. For more information regarding how Insta360 processes and protects your personal information, please refer to Insta360 Privacy Policy
a. Please contact the Insta360 technical support team at service@insta360.com or submit an after-sales request through Insta360 Official Website before sending back any product. Insta360 may reject or return products without an assigned RMA number.
b. Due to differences between product versions, your product will be designated a specific, regional maintenance center by Insta360. If you have any questions about this Agreement and our After-Sales Policy, please contact the Insta360 after-sales service team.
c. In the case that when Insta360 send the repaired product back to you, and if the recipient address you provide is wrong, or the recipient refuses to receive the delivery, any resulting loss shall be borne by the recipient.
d. In the case that when Insta360 send the repaired product back to you, and if the product cannot be delivered or is rejected, it will be returned to Insta360. Insta360 will retain the product and calculate a storage fee from the date of return. The standard storage fee is: US$15/day. If/when the storage fee becomes equivalent to the remaining value of the product, Insta360 has the right to dispose of the product. Calculation method for product value = original selling price, subtract the cost of repair.
e. Please check the product to ensure it is in good condition before receiving the repaired product. Please ensure there is no damage that may have occurred during delivery, or for any other reason. Damage to the product during transportation must be reported to the Insta360 after-sales service center within 24 hours. For other issues with your returned product, please inform Insta360 within 48 hours from the date of receipt. After this period Insta360 will assume that the product is not damaged and performance is normal.

X. APPLICABLE LAW
This Warranty will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the countries where Insta360's products are purchased. You are protected by any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence. Nothing in this Agreement (including this paragraph) will affect your rights as a consumer to rely on mandatory provisions of your local law (including but not limited to the right to apply for dispute resolution with the relevant consumer protection authorities and competent courts in your country/region, if applicable).
