What are the content submission rules?
Participants must ensure that their entries are original and do not use uncopyrighted materials or infringe on the rights of third parties. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited. If any entry involves false information or infringement, the participant will be disqualified and held responsible.
What happens to my content after I submit it?
Once you submit your work, you grant Insta360 a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license. This includes, but is not limited to, copying, editing, modifying, publishing, and displaying your work, as well as recreating, copying, editing, modifying, publishing, and displaying derivative works for both commercial and non-commercial purposes.
What criteria are used to select the winning entries?
Submissions are evaluated based on several key factors: video quality, creativity, the level of effort and dedication involved in the production, and the overall impact or “wow” factor of the work. For the $100,000 prize, Insta360 carefully reviews each entry against these criteria to ensure the best submissions are recognized. For the special judge-based prizes, our judges choose their favorite submission by considering what they believe to be the best of each style. This allows for true recognition of exceptional talent.
Who is responsible for copyright?
The individual or organization that uploads the entry bears all copyright responsibilities for the work. The organizer is not liable for any legal disputes related to copyright, trademarks, portrait rights, reputation rights, or privacy rights. The legal liability rests entirely on the contestant.
What do I need to do if I win?
Winners must provide personal details, payment methods, and fill out the necessary forms to claim their prizes. If the winner does not provide this information within 90 days of winning, or fails to correctly complete any required information, the prize will be considered forfeit and will not be paid out.
For the special judge-based prizes, Insta360 will offer a budget for the experiences. The right of final interpretation of the experience is reserved by Insta360. The deadline for completing the experience is 23:59 (CST), 31 December 2025. Detailed terms can be found at https://www.insta360.com/awards/terms
What kind of content is prohibited?
The work must not contain any pornographic or violent content, or any material that violates local laws and regulations.
